Representing Bradford - Youth Music Project

From a young person to a workshop leader. Kelly returns to TFD Centre to deliver a new music project.

The transformation power of music!

Kelly started his journey with Allstar as a young person who had a love for music.

He got involved in our Youth Music project back in 2019 and has never looked back.

"I feel proud from the person I used to be to the person I am today. I feel really grateful for the opportunities and I'm looking forward to see how far I can go."

After getting involved in our Youth Music project Kelly is now working as a Healthy Minds apprentice advocating for young people across the Bradford and Craven district. Kelly has worked with youth workers from the TFD Centre in Holmewood and he is now delivering sessions to other young people who want to get creative.

"Over the last four years we have seen Kelly develop into a young man who has gained so much confidence. Over the years i've seen his skills grow and now his able to trasnfer those skills and pass them on to other young people that really benifit from someone who has travelled such a distance."

Kelly is looking forward to delivering more sessions across Bradford and Craven and aims to use his story to inspire other young people.
