October was a busy and exciting month for the All Star team, with a number of key events and achievements to celebrate.
First up, we launched our first B SAFE Roadshow Event at Kalasangam. The event was a huge success, with Year 6 learners from schools across Bradford attending to learn about staying safe online and offline. We had a variety of activities and workshops on offer.
Two of our team members also attended the Youth Networking Event at Number 10 Downing Street as part of our work with Bradford Museums and Galleries.
Our Apprentices and staff also attended the Celebrate As One Awards. The event was held to celebrate the achievements of services and organisations across the Bradford District and Craven. We were delighted to attend the awards and see all those who have made a significant contribution to their communities.
Finally, our 2022/23 Apprentices graduated and were presented awards by Therese Patten. Therese then surprised them with a Special Celebrate as One Child Friendly Award: positive impact on health & wellbeing of young people in Bradford District & Craven. The event also saw us welcome the new cohort 2023/24 Apprentice Team 4. The Team also received a Special Certificate from the Lord Mayor (Cllr Gerry Barker) in recognition of their work.
We are incredibly proud of all of our young people and their achievements. They are an inspiration to us all. We would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future.
Keep doing what you do being that voice and influence for children & young people across the Bradford District & Craven, and making a difference.
