HAF - Holiday activities and food programme

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is back for summer 2023, and Allstar Entertainment is proud to be delivering a range of fun and active activities for children and young people in Bradford.

There's something for everyone, with activities such as rugby, dance, skateboarding, arts and crafts, and much more. All activities are delivered by experienced and qualified instructors, and are designed to be both fun and educational.

In addition to the activities, HAF also provides children and young people with a free meal each day. This is a great opportunity for children to get a healthy meal, and to socialize with other children from their community.

he HAF programme is open to all children and young people aged 4-16 who are eligible for free school meals. To find out more about the programme and to book a place, please visit the Allstar Entertainment website or contact your local council.

Here are some of the specific activities that will be taking place as part of the HAF programme in Bradford:

  • Rugby: Children will learn the basics of rugby, including how to pass, kick, and tackle. They will also have the opportunity to play in mini-matches.

  • Dance: Children will be able to learn a variety of dance styles, including ballet, hip hop, and street dance. They will also have the opportunity to perform in a showcase at the end of the summer.

  • Skateboarding: Children will learn how to skateboard in a safe and supervised environment. They will also have the opportunity to compete in skateboarding competitions.

  • Arts and crafts: Children will be able to express their creativity through a variety of arts and crafts activities, such as painting, drawing, and pottery.

The HAF programme is a great opportunity for children and young people to have fun, stay active, and learn new skills. It's also a great way for them to meet new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Our HAF programme is delivered in partnership with Be Well and is funded by the Department of Education.
