Allstar worker Ibby returns to his Pupil Referal Unit to inspire the next generation of DJs.

"When I was here, I would have never have thought I would be returning as an adult to deliver these sessions."

Ibby has started DJ workshops working within Bradford AP Academy. The sessions give learners an overview of the basics of DJing and provide them with hands-on experience on the decks. The learners actively engage in the sessions and are inspired by their former pupils.

"He's been here, he's sat in their seat and their aware of that. It instantly gives them a connection that would otherwise take a very long time to build. He can really emphasis with the students, he knows how to communicate on their level and it makes them get alot more out of the sessions in a shorter amount of time."

Since leaving school, Ibby has used his passion and interest in music to inspire young people to get creative and involved in music. The taster workshops have been a complete success and the school has invited Ibby back in and delivered to more learners within their school.
