As the buzz of the Easter holidays fades, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the fantastic times had during our #HAF2025 (Holiday, Activity & Food) Club! It was a week filled with fun, discovery, and opportunities for young people to connect and create some brilliant memories. Here are just a few of the highlights that made our Easter programme so special:
Exploring and Connecting in the Great Outdoors
One of the memorable days saw us head to Northcliffe Woods for an exciting orienteering adventure. We were thrilled to be joined by the brilliant local PCSOs Jerry and his team from West Yorkshire Police (Shipley). It was a fantastic chance for the young people to work together, navigate the woods, and build positive connections with those who serve our community in a relaxed and fun setting.

Green-Fingered Fun and Community Spirit
Another highlight was our visit to NEET, a wonderful project supporting adults with learning disabilities. Over 50 of our young people had the opportunity to get involved in planting bedding plants and learn about the inspiring garden spaces and buildings created by the NEET community. A huge thank you to Suzanne for her kind welcome and for sharing this enriching experience with us.

Parks, Play, and Plenty of Smiles
Of course, no school holiday is complete without some good old-fashioned fun in the park! We spent a joyful day at Lister Park, letting the young people run, play, and enjoy the freedom of one of our district's amazing green spaces. It was simply a day dedicated to fun and letting off some steam.
Ending with a UV Glow and Easter Cheer!
We brought our Easter #HAF2025 programme to a vibrant close with an unforgettable UV party! The room was alive with neon colours, fantastic music courtesy of the amazing Adam, and so much laughter. It was brilliant to see every child leave with Easter presents, balloons, and plenty of chocolate eggs, their happy faces lighting up the room even more than the UV lights!

More Than Just Holiday Activities
Our Easter #HAF2025 programme, supported by funding from the Department for Education and Bradford Council, was about more than just keeping young people entertained during the holidays. It was about fostering connections, building confidence, and creating positive experiences that will hopefully stay with them.
A big thank you to all the young people who joined us, our wonderful partners, and everyone involved in making it such a successful and fun-filled Easter!
